Triple jump in price of hotels during Olympics
London is set to cash in on the Olympics when the flood of competitors, officials and spectators visit the city during the games. And hotels aren’t going to miss out on the opportunity to rake in as much as possible from the tourists. Some hotels are hiking their prices up by three times during the Olympic weeks.
Hotels.com found that the average price for a London hotel room during the games will be £213, 102% up on the same period last year.
